Continuing Studies is seeking an instructor to teach in our Pork Processing certificate program located in Sandy Bay.

If you have pork processing experience and would be interested in developing quality programs that are responsive to Manitoba’s labour market, then we would like to hear from you. We are looking for the person who will pass along their knowledge and produce graduates that have mastered their skills and are ready for the workforce.

You are the type of person who will take initiative and provide unparalleled student experiences through positive classroom management, student evaluation, academic advising, and related administrative duties. You will be an engaging, forward-thinking and culturally aware instructor.

Deliver Results.

To deliver results, you will have extensive meat cutting experience with a preference given to those who have graduated from a recognized meat cutting program. In addition, you will have excellent communication skills, organization skills, and the ability to work effectively in a professional team environment. Although not required, experience teaching adult learners, curriculum development, and retail meat management would be an asset.
