To Canada Beef and the CPMCA:
I am very honoured to be the recipient of the 2022 Canada Beef CPMCA Award for Excellence. I would like to thank both Rob Povey for selecting me as well as our donor Canada Beef for offering this great bursary. This award will greatly help me and my family as I pursue a career in meat cutting.
I really enjoyed my time at NAIT and thought that the program was very informative and thorough. It was a great mix of hands-on learning and classroom learning. I would recommend this program to anyone looking to learn the craft.
I am currently working towards opening my own Butcher shop and hope to have that open within the next calendar year.
I did not get into meat cutting for the awards, but it does feel good to win!
