Meat Manager

What You Will Do:

·            Prepares, administers, and achieves budgeted department goals related to pricing, sales, margin, expenses, and inventory for efficient operation of the department and to achieve all financial targets.

·            Assist the Food Division Manager in communicating operational requirements, operational changes, and translate the vision into departmental initiatives.

·            Provide leadership to the department, including goal setting, performance management, training, and development of team members.

·            Provide strong leadership and support to the department focusing on safety and preventing workplace injuries.

·            Provides leadership as a brand ambassador for the Co-operative by ensuring the meat department provides the highest in quality products and enhancing the customer’s shopping experience and satisfaction.

Who You Are:

You are looking for a career in retail store operations and:

Post-secondary education in a related field is an asset.
3 years experience within a meat department.
Managerial experience is considered an asset.
Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.
