Edward Mandel is the 2022 recipient of the CPMCA Award of Excellence for the top ranked student in his class.

Edward says, I am honoured to be the recipient of the CPMCA Annual Award for Excellence and thank the CRMCA for the recognition. I attended the Professional Meat Cutting and Merchandising Program at NAIT and graduated with honours. The program at NAIT was beneficial because of the in depth training I received as well as the instruction and knowledge shared by the instructors.

I am now in the process of setting up my own meat cutting business near Lac La Biche, AB. I plan to custom butcher and cut for local producers and hunters as well as support my son in his hog operation by butchering and making quality specialty sausage.
